CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
It is best to store your jewelry in a soft, dark, dry place. This will help your gemstones keep their brilliant color and prevent tarnishing of metals.

Store pieces in individual compartments or wrapped separately to prevent scratching and tangling.

Always put your jewelry on last when getting dressed! Avoid bringing your jewelry in contact with perfume, hairspray and other harsh chemicals.

Metals will naturally tarnish over time. It is best to clean jewelry using a very soft cotton cloth with a gentle, non-abrasive soap and water. Do not use paper towels or anything that may scratch the surface. Be sure that each piece is completely dry before storing.

If your jewelry piece contains silk cording, leather or wood, be sure not to get these parts wet when cleaning.

Remember that some gemstones are fragile and can crack if bumped up against hard surfaces. Be gentle with your jewelry.

MY MATERIALS
Because I work with many natural materials, each piece may vary slightly from that pictured and will have its own unique characteristics

14k Gold-Filled
I use 14k gold-filled chain and components in many of my designs. It is produced by permanently bonding a layer of solid 14k gold to a base metal. To be defined as gold-filled, the gold content must be 1/20th of the total metal weight. This is higher quality plating than the traditional gold plated and is more resistant to ware.

Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. Sterling may also be oxidized giving it a black or "antiqued" finish.

I use a large variety of semi precious gemstones, pearls, wood and leather. Please feel free to email if you have any questions about a specific material.

Custom/Wedding
I have worked with many brides to design special pieces for their bridesmaids, flower girls and for the bride herself. Please email me at [email protected] stating the types of pieces you are considering, colors or stones, date of your Wedding and your budget. I look forward to working with you to create something exceptional for your special day.
